How to create and Delete a Live Update Channel

Creating a Live Update Channel:

• Open your application on the dashboard.
• Select Deploy>Destinations.
• Select New Destination.

• Select Live Update Channel from the list of available destination types.
  • note: currently Live Update Channels are the only destination type and will be selected by default.
• Enter a name for the new channel in the "Enter a new channel name" field. This name must exactly match the CHANNEL_NAME variable configured in your app's installation of the Live Update plugin.
• Select Create Channel.

• The new channel will now appear in the Destinations list.

Deleting a Live Update Channel:

Note: Once a channel is deleted it cannot be restored.

• Open your application on the dashboard.
• Select Deploy>Destinations.
• Locate the channel in the destinations list. Open the kabob menu and select Delete.

• A warning is displayed. Select the "I'm sure" button to permanently delete the channel.
