- Deploy v5 Patch Update: We’ve added a new preference that allows you to disable it during development.
- New Docs About Ionic Builds: Deploy vs Package builds, as well as Build Environments. Learn how to use predefined environment variables to make environment configuration easier.
- Framework v4 Support: Several of you have reached out regarding this. There is no official support for it yet, but you can begin to use it now with Ionic Pro. For more details, please see here.
Ionic Native Plugins to get Deprecation Notices
Our Customer Success team has begun to audit the entire list of Ionic Native plugins, our curated set of community-created Cordova plugin wrappers. Some of the plugins have been listed as “deprecated” by their owners on GitHub, so be sure to look for changes in the near future that will identify them as such - Plus improved documentation in support of Ionic Framework v4.
